Filipinos generally believe that a child’s future is best secured through the attainment and completion of a good college course. That is why, many of our parents strive so hard to include in their monthly budget the school expenses of their children. Many of them even resort to loans from financing institutions, and sometimes even from loan sharks.

With this in mind, the officials of the SLEM Coop came up with Coop Educational Savings Deposits (CESD) which is simply translated, “Save now for your Child’s 5 Years College Education”. Parents can start building a savings account for their children’s future education for as low as P100.00 per month. If they start at age 0-1, by the time the child reaches 17 years old, they can enjoy the privilege of withdrawing thirty two thousand three hundred forty pesos (P32,340.00) cash which they can use for whatever educational needs of their child at that time.

We are aware of how fast time flies. Before we know it, it would be time to send off our children to a university or any college they prefer to enroll in. It is best to be prepared when that time comes… and what better way to prepare than to avail of SLEM Coop’s CESD.
